its friday.. finally.. and so.. wat to do tml??
its friday.. wah...did filing for the whole day.. at first i was doing okie.. just a little overloaded..
then YM came over.. and ask me.. wad m i doing.. i said filling lor.. then she say.. they always pile all the stuff up... and never do.. i think think for a while.. yah ah.. their documents date back to oct last year.. which goes to say that they did not file their stuff for the past 6 months?? pengz.. if they did some along the way..the things will not be so hectic for me.. WTF!!
its very tiring.. where you have to identify the file.. and remove the holder.. then file it chronologically.. and put back the holder.. then put back the file.. and then look for the next.. they should try doing it for 3-4 carton boxes of documents!!
nvm.. its sat tml.. so.. i should not be angry.. should i go to heartware or go for mahjong with WX, evelyn and fanny?? hmmm....

today EP say i hve projects!!!! woah. i m so happy.. i finally have some projects to handle.. i m no longer the extra one.. haha
well.. she say i will help WE in flexi benefits.. and help her in OJT.. wow.. but that will be ard 2 weeks later.. becos of Macella gg on leave.. but.. freat not. becos i realised they ask me to do recep for a reason.. to build up a OJT for a receptionist.. no wonder.. okie.. like that i will receive it in a more positive light.. EP also say she will give me materials to read up first.. so okie la.. no prob.. =P
today.. meet more pple. like desmond from NTU.. had breakfast together..think will know more pple tml..
started work helping WE doing Annual increment thingie.. well.. okie la. pretty easy n fun.. and i did it fast.. so.. finish before lunch.. then help Cynthia to prepare address for MOM.. that also done before lunch.. and slightly after lunch..
@ ard 230pm.. i have nothing to do.. CT pushed to GH to let me do something.. and GH push me to WE to do something.. i was so bored.. staring into blank space.. keep drinking water.. and visiting toilet.. finally.. buai tahan.. approach WE for things to do.. she let me continue AI
well.. i think they did not plan things for me to do.. like all the things they required me to do.. think they plan for 2 weeks.. i finish in 1 week.. and they are quite lost in wat to do next for me.. well.. hmph.. my fault?? i feel like a commodity or a work machine that finish work fast.. and need to feed me with work.. but.. imagine la. wat m i suppose to do when there is no work? stare at the wall ah?? cannot surf net becos my com facing a lot of passer bys.. so i went to borrow a book.. haz..
sometimes i feel so bad.. keep disturbing pple to give me things to do.. but.. dun give me things to do.. i will seriously just sit there and do nothing... that is super bo liao.. sighz.. that is y i brought a book to work.. nothing to do.. read lor.. and show to the rest that.. "I M BORED.."

Another boring day @ work
Well.. if things go on like this.. i will have prob writing my PA report.. sighz..
today start off the day doing recep duty.. well..now i kinda like recep duty becos very relaz.. and in the morn. just prepare things.. not real stuff yet... haha.. i will have one whole week of duty for the whole week..when the receptionist go on leave.. wonder how it is related to HR.. hmm...
then go back to office.. ask to do filing.. then lunch break.. then go back do recep duty... then come back office.. continue sorting and filing.. will continue tml.. my colleagues say i m fast though.. haha
y i wan to do so fast? actually my mentality is that.. if i do faster.. then i will clear their piled up work faster.. then maybe they will let me see some real stuff after all the piled up stuff are done.. and they have nothing else for me to do.. how is that mentality man.. haha.. rather positive? i truly believe in it.. however, if they disappoint me.. then i will really have nothing to say...
today they went out to celebrate Macella's and EP's birthday.. so the whole HR dept (except me of course) went out for lunch.. well.. i m having tots that contradicts.. first.. i tot i m part of the team.. and i should be invited to the lunch celebration.. well.. i tot they should hve to courtesy to invite me.. to make me feel more home.. on the other hand.. they have to pay for their share of the food.. wah.. din know that the manager so giam.. this type of dinner.. how much can it cost? 100-200 bucks.. like that also wan to split bill.. sighz.. this type of boss ah.. where got caring... just go for lunch for the sake of gg only.. know i see y the HR department is not so friendly and approachable.. i tot HR pple are the employee's pple.. they dun listen to the employees.. then wat for rite? just do their stuff without the heart.. sighz.. i m somehow glad that i did not go though.. can chat with YM.. can do recep (actually.. i mean do nothing..) and save $$ .. haha..
i hope tml will be a better day...
today some NTU IA engineering students approach me.. i have FRIENDS!! well.. at least some one of my age.. and can relate to me.. and have breakfast kaki.. haha.. hope life will be better...
Second day at PA
today's my second day.. well caught my bus at 7am.. woah.. so early.. the bus is so quiet.. all slping in the bus.. there starts my day..
supposed to do reception duty today.. so.. learning from YM and CC... they are real nice pple.. they teach me wat to do in a friendly manner.. and chatted with me.. and accom me to lunch... they are real friendly.. esp YM.. she will talk to me without me trying to engage in a conversation.. that gives me a boost in the morning to continue my day...!!
well.. the only think that is uncomfortable is that.. i dun think they like the HR pple.. which is my team.. they say they are not so friendly.. esp the supervisors.. EP and WE.. so.. its a little uncomfortable to me.. i mean... i m working with them.. then they say bad things.. i like stuck in the middle.. like.. they say this team not very employee conscious.. they pile up work.. which is quite true.. as i had been clearing piled up work for them.. as i say. i feel like a temp.. and YM say that.. other IA students under her charge.. they will clean the table for them.. and will plan their training and development.. let them learn somethings.. but.. for me. i still have to clean my own table.. and i m not learning anything yet.. well... i believe wat they say for now. becos i can see how its in action.. and its not only talking kok without evidence.. well.. then i dun think i wish to stay in the department after graduation.. (well NTU say most IA student usu get employed again my the IA company.. hmm.. )i think i prefer the Asia-Pacific Office.. 9-6pm.. more regular.. and much more prestigious.. as pple dress up.. and not just normal office attire.. if i m offered a place back at BD, i hope to be at the AP office.. =)
one thing i remember YM say.. and i think its quite true.. "you hear wat pple say.. and keep it to yourself.. think before you say anything.." that is one big thing i learn today.. its not politics i should think.. but some self defence before you are drawn or you caused pple to be drawn into politics.. so.. i hear can la.. but i dun think i will say anything.. hope can maintain pure friendship with them.. =P
its almost 10pm.. the next day will start soon... sianz.. but... on the positive side. i m one day closer to friday.. which is a dress down day!!!
First day at PA
Well.. its my first day at my PA.. woke up at 6.45am.. and start to prepare myself..
well.. i was pretty nervous.. becos its a total new environment that i m venturing myself into.. and i dunno wat the environment will be..
daddy send me there today.. save lots of trouble.. and its fast.. reach there in 10 mins.. daddy is the best.. =) mummy give me red packet for a good start.. thanks mummy..!! =)
well.. there are 2 interns actually.. me and another china girl (wen ji) from ngee ann poly.. but she not in the same department as me.. so.. i am still alone as a fact.. =|
we had an 2 hours orientation.. then start work liao.. so fast!! other pple got a few days orientation.. well.. okie la.. nothing much to orientate too though. haha...
after that.. my facilitator ask me to clean my table.. becos the table vacant for quite some time.. very dusty.. at least she give me cloth... hee hee. nt bad la..
then.. she ask me to do some updating of employee addresss.. the stack was like.. woah.. so thick.. i was wondering if i can finish by the time i go home man...
lunch time.. ee peng brought me to lunch with the other colleagues.. okie la.. though they clique among themselves.. and i dun have much things to say.. but.. at least they say across the table.. and not like.. hide in one corner to say.. so.. well.. i shld count my blessings...
time after lunch went pass very quickly.. so.. i think i will be very happy to go for lunch.. haha..
transport back got bus.. so just board the bus.. and head home.. so happy....
well.. they did not give me specific HR things to do.. instead... ask me to update the employees DB.. and do filing.. and reception.. but.. well.. wat EP say is true too.. when we graduate.. we have no chance to try reception.. so here can have some exposure.. then.. DB thing.. well.. its becos of MOM recent requirement.. then we have to double check the addressess.. at least Welch did let me know..
all in all... i think HR has all the glamorous things to be done.. like com & ben.. trg n development.. Selection and assessment.. i think someone still have to do some dirty jobs that maintain the regular activities...
at least i did not hve much conflict.. i should be glad.. thank the forces upthere..!!
